AVINCO has a long track record in arranging aircraft financing and structuring financial transactions for airlines. We have the expertise to advise on appropriate financing structures and originate financing for aircraft owners with multiple financing requirements- including putting in place both debt (finance leasing, with or without tax enhancements) and equity finance (typically sale and leaseback) for new or used aircraft.
AVINCO will negotiate with manufacturers, banks, lessors, export credit organisations and support organisations as appropriate to obtain the best possible financial terms for its airline clients and put in place the most effective structure to optimize tax, security and other parameters.
AVINCO provides an overview of the financial products available and analyses the best options in relation to specific equipment acquisition or financing structure including the following activities:
AVINCO plans and implements the optimum finance structure within the commercial, financial and tax constraints of the proposed transaction. Over the past few years, AVINCO has assisted in setting up several separate aircraft ownership structures, including two on behalf of airline clients.
AVINCO’s team consists of three qualified aeronautical engineers who have a detailed understanding of the technical intricacies of large commercial aircraft to support the company’s placement and sourcing activities. AVINCO’s in-house technical director is responsible for all technical activities, principally project management of inspections and maintenance tasks relating to aircraft. AVINCO routinely coordinates detailed technical inspections and assists in preparing aircraft deliveries, redeliveries and maintenance activities.
To assist airlines with potentially costly aircraft phase-ins and phase-outs, AVINCO provides a specific inspection and overview service to minimize the costs and operational disruption caused by such transitions. For inspections and overseeing maintenance services, AVINCO’s technical director coordinates a team of trusted and qualified consultants specifically experienced in:
Additionally, AVINCO has long experience in technical and maintenance service contract negotiations and has over the years put in place general terms agreements with certain airframe and engine manufacturers. This crucially allows AVINCO to access technical and support information when needed.
